I’m assessing the direction of the blood flow in her veins basically looking to see if they’re going in the right direction or the wrong direction.
The right direction would be up towards the heart and the wrong direction would be down towards the feet.
And with this information what will you then decide?
It should be a candidate for what we have here called evla or endovenous laser treatment or ablation basically to get rid of rid of varicose veins and non functioning veins in the legs.
How does that work? so what they do is using basically a how would you call IV like insertion into the vein. They insert a small laser fiber into the vein and over the course of less than a minute we slowly pull the fiber out while is on which ablates the vein or shuts the vein down from the inside out.
Then the patients are usually quick comfortable before now. Yes hey you are awake for the whole entire procedure but with the numbing medication you don’t feel anything at all
